Author Guidelines

The following guidelines must be read carefully by any author intending to submit material to RD-ICT. The corresponding author must read and comply with all instructions stated herein. Any submission that fails to do so will not be processed further.

Authors are encouraged to follow good practice of technical paper writing, such as the guidelines on “How to write for technical periodicals & conferences” of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

Manuscripts should be written in English and formatted into A4-size, single-spaced, single-column pages, using a 12-point font for main text. The manuscript should include: title of the manuscript, names, affiliations and emails of all authors, abstract, index terms, main text, references. Authors may also use the former style of RD-ICT for double-column format.

The manuscript should have at least 12 single-spaced pages in length, including tables and figures. This length corresponds roughly to 6 pages in print (single-spaced, two-column format, 10-point font).

Submissions must be made online on the website of RD-ICT. By submitting a manuscript, the authors are required to ensure that the submission has not been previously published, nor is currently submitted for publication elsewhere. Submission also implies that the corresponding author has consent of all authors. The submission file must be in PDF format. To faciliate double-blind review, authors are requested to submit two versions of the manuscript, one with full information of all authors, the other without.

Submissions of revised manuscripts should follow the same guidelines as for the initial manuscript, plus with a document entitled “Response to reviewers’ comments” which explains the modifications according to the comments of the anonymous reviewers.

Upon formal acceptance of a manuscript for publication, the authors are required to prepare the final manuscript in LaTeX, using the IEEE Transactions style.
